Cognitive Rehabilitation
Regaining Cognitive Strength After Injury or Illness
At The BrainWell Collective, our Cognitive Rehabilitation service is designed to support individuals experiencing changes in their thinking, memory, attention, or executive functioning—whether due to brain injury, stroke, neurological conditions, or other medical events.
We provide structured, evidence-informed therapy that targets the cognitive skills needed for everyday life. Through personalised, goal-directed interventions, we help you build the tools to think clearly, plan ahead, manage routines, and stay engaged in meaningful activities.
We support teens and adults who experience cognitive challenges related to:
Acquired Brain Injury (ABI)
Stroke
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
Parkinson’s disease, MS, or other progressive neurological conditions (Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia)
Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
ADHD and executive function impairments
Post-viral fatigue or long COVID-related brain fog
Therapy is delivered in a real-life, functional context, meaning we don’t just do paper tasks—we work with you on how to manage your day, get back to work or study, navigate public transport, or prepare meals while remembering steps.
Our therapists are trained in neuroscience-informed practice and take a person-centred, strengths-based approach. We partner with you to understand your goals, tailor interventions to your life, and track meaningful progress along the way.
Sessions may be delivered in clinic, at home, in the community, or via telehealth depending on your needs.
